UPSC Tamil Option

Class Timings

• Weekly Four Classes.
• Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Thursdays to Saturdays from 4pm to 7pm
• Sunday: 2pm to 4pm week end test. 4pm to 7pm regular class

Students Admission

• Students will be admitted before the prelims uptill 5 days after the prelim’s exam.
• All the prescribed Tamil optional books will be issued on the day of admission
• Classes will commence within 7 days after the prelims.

Week End Tests

• All the lessons in the syllabus will be taught completely
• Strategies to understand the mains questions, choosing the right questions, time management skills would be taught and tests would be conducted based upon it.
• After completion of a book the questions from the previous year question papers would be discussed.
• Tests will be conducted a week after discussion.
• The corrected answer scripts will be given a week after the tests.
• Totally there will be 10-12 tests.
• At the end of the Model Exams will be conducted for Paper I and Paper II
• Devira’s Academy will provide the answer scripts for all the tests.

Free Test Training

• Every year a separate Test Batch will be conducted free of cost for Dr.Devira’s students who has cleared Prelims
• Totally 8 tests would be conducted and the corrected answer scripts will be returned with scholarly feedback.
• This is applicable for all Devira’s students who have cleared prelims irrespective of the year in which they studied under him.

TNPSC-Group 2, Group 2 A Mains

• Classes will commence after notification from the Tamilnadu Government
• Students’ Admission process details will be announced after the Government Notification.
• Classes will be only on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 12 pm
• Tests will be conducted every week
• Classes will end with a model exam before the mains
• Books required for the course will be provided by the Academy

TNPSC Group 4 – Podhu Tamil(only)

• Classes will commence after notification from the Tamilnadu Government
• Students’ Admission process details will be announced after the Government Notification
• Books required for the course will be provided by the Academy

B.A., M.A., Tamil – Grammar(only)

• Classes will be only on Saturdays and Sundays in the morning.
• Syllabus related grammar would be taught in depth in a simple way.
